On a special Senior Day, the Greenwich High School Varsity Baseball team delivered a nail-biting 5-4 win over Stamford on their home diamond. The Cardinals erupted for 4 runs in the 2nd inning to seize early control, then held on as Stamford clawed back. With the lead in jeopardy, James Moro stepped up in relief and was brilliant, shutting the door with composure and grit to preserve the victory. A perfect way for Greenwich to honor their seniors in style.
