In a dramatic non-league battle, Staples High School held the upper hand for much of the first half before Brunswick drew level at 5-5 at halftime. The Wreckers fought back in the second half to lead 8-7 with time winding down, with Connor Petrosino, Charlie Clark, Jack Pallai, and Nick Weil providing the two goals each. But Brunswick had other ideas, stunning Staples with two late strikes to clinch a 9-8 victory.
