Brunswick School's football team weathered the elements and a determined Avon Old Farms squad, escaping with a 10-7 win at home in NEPSAC play. With wind and rain making it tough for either offense to find a rhythm, it was Brunswick's defense that broke the game open, as Ryder Swenson turned a Brunswick interception into a pick-six. Avon Old Farms answered through quarterback Matthew Baer, who accounted for the Wolverines' only touchdown, but the Bruins made their lead stand up.
