Greenwich High School’s girls basketball team capped off an extraordinary season by winning the CIAC championship, just weeks after claiming the FCIAC title. Their 51–46 win over Northwest Catholic not only gave the team its first-ever state championship but also capped a stellar 25–2 season.
Zuri Faison led Greenwich with 19 points, supported by Madi Utzinger’s 16, as the team pulled through a tightly contested final.With both FCIAC and CIAC crowns in hand, Greenwich’s historic season will be remembered as one of the greatest in school history.
